Unique cupola tuyere design that directs all
cooling water to protruding end first, providing
maximum cooling to the hottest area

Extruded coils mean no internal obstructions
of sand, broken core material, etc.

Higher cooling water velocity due to smaller
channels and elimination of all 180 degree
turns. Better cooling with less water

No preproduction tooling costs, such as
patterns, core boxes, or fixtures. Changes can
be made readily, at no cost to the customer

Coils made from 100% conductivity copper:
15-20% more conductivity than cast tuyeres

Better conductivity = less failures during the
melting operation, thus reducing potential
cupola catastrophes such as freeze ups, runouts,
etc. that cause premature bottom drops

Only the required portion of the tuyere is made
of copper. The non-essential portion is made of
stronger, less expensive steel
